Freeman in 'Making the American Man'

Posted: Jul 06 2016

Back in 2014, when our store was still a few weeks from opening its doors, a crew of young documentarians from the University of Southern California's film school, led by director Gregory Caruso, got in touch with Scott and Brittany Freeman about interviewing them as part of a film about makers and brands crafting mens' goods here in the U.S. Along with many of Freeman's peers and friends such as Tellason, Juniper Ridge and Topo Designs, the filmmakers stopped by for a chat with Scott and Brittany about the Freeman brand.

Two years later, Making the American Man debuted on Netflix and provides a wide, insightful look at our made-in-USA corner of the menswear world. Take a look at the trailer here, read a Hollywood Reporter interview with director Gregory Caruso here (big thanks for the shoutout, Gregory!) or watch the whole thing on Netflix.

Lastly, here's a short snippet with Scott and Brittany, courtesy of the Making the American Man website.

Congratulations on the documentary, guys, and thanks again for including us!

I have been to the store a number of times and see the beautiful merchandise that is all made in theUSA and can say the items are made well and of special fabrics suited to the NW. Great success story, Brittany and Scott.
