Rover Pack from Topo Designs

Posted: Mar 03 2016

From the mile-high mountains of Colorado, Topo Designs have carved out a prominent place in the landscape of American-made menswear with their classically-styled, color-saturated takes on outdoor gear and apparel. Taking style cues from the golden era of mountain-ready clothes (think Patagonia or Sierra Designs from the '70s and '80s), Topo imbues their signature aesthetic via bold colors and contemporary, technical fabrics that the OG mountaineers would drool over. Equally at home on the trail for a day hike and at the bar for a beer afterward, Topo Designs make some of our favorite pieces in the shop. Perhaps the coolest, though, is the Rover Pack.

The Rover Pack is a mid-size rucksack that's perfect for a day hike to Lake Serene, or just the hike from your apartment to the office. It features a padded inner laptop sleeve to keep your computer tucked away while your eyes are focused on cooler things, like mountains and lakes and that kind of stuff. Crafted from super-tough Cordura nylon, the Rover Pack can withstand whatever abuse you can throw at it, and it's water-resistant, so it'll stand up to any bursts of rain you might find yourself in out there.

The Rover Pack's main compartment features a cinch closure for optimal utilization of its capacity. It also sports an outer zip-closure pocket for the stuff you'll need to easily access (headphones, M&M's, etc.), plus another zip-closure pocket on the lid of the bag. So many places for your stuff! The Rover Pack is your perfect day hike or weekend companion, and, like everything here at Freeman, it's 100% made in the United States.

We have the Rover Pack in three awesome colors, and guess what – there are even more colors on the way for spring! Come check one out ASAP – summer's just around the corner, and those beers aren't gonna carry themselves to that chill alpine lake you've been dying to Instagram.
